Company History
History: 10 Years of CRM
In the early spring of 2001, Robert Barnes entered the
world of CRM, working with one of the first organizations to support and develop Sage
Accpac CRM version 3.
Over the years, Robert and his team garnered some industry awards for their
prowess in taking Sage AccPac CRM far beyond it’s boundaries; and more
importantly a reputation as a primary resource to have CRM solutions
developed and your business problems solved.
In late 2006 the CRM Systems team decided that in order to better serve its
customers, and to better reach the international marketplace, it was necessary
to form an independent, flexible company that specialized on CRM solutions
and is focused on three key items, in order of importance:

In early 2007, Robert and his team formed a new company,
CRM Systems, to focus exclusively on
Sage CRM and related technologies.
Our Director of US operations, Colin Chambers co-founded CRM Systems, Inc., San Diego, CA in 2002 and has since managed and supported over 40 successful SageCRM (formerly ACCPAC CRM) implementations in the western US.
CRM Systems, Inc. was named ACCPAC International (later acquired by Sage Software) Solution Provider “Rookie of the Year” US in 2003, and an ACCPAC International Premier Business Partner 2003 – 2004.
Colin, like Robert, is a Certified Consultant, SageCRM and Certified Microsoft CRM Consultant. He has managed regional sales territories for ERP/accounting software developers Deltek Systems, Maxwell Technologies and SCS/Compute out of San Diego, CA and Bellevue, WA
Colin has supported SageCRM and related technologies exclusively for 7 years since 2001 as a sales engineer with Computer Associates in San Diego, CA, with 8 years in high-end ERP and related systems sales and 4 years as a Business Analyst for Dun & Bradstreet Information Resources in Seattle, WA.
In this new form, CRM Systems continues to offer the industry leading service
and support which clients have grown accustomed to and expect. We also continue
to enhance the software products our partners sell and use on a daily basis.
